When a payment provider is enabled in the future, this policy will be updated to identify the provider and explain what payment information is received and how it is handled.
3.How We Use Your Information
- To create, manage, and authenticate your account;
- To generate, deliver, and score your IELTS practice tests;
- To track your progress, history, and performance over time;
- To link your login identity to your student or teacher profile;
- To enforce entitlements and access control (active subscription checks);
- To allow teachers and administrators to view and manage their students' progress;
- To maintain security, prevent fraud, and detect abuse of the Service;
- To improve the quality of our AI-generated content and the Service itself;
- To send essential service notifications (account, security, entitlement status);
- To comply with legal obligations.
4.Legal Bases for Processing
We process your personal information on the following bases:
- Contract: to provide the Service you requested when you registered and purchased access.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the platform, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.
- Consent: for optional analytics or marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws and lawful requests from authorities.
5.How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in these limited circumstances:
- Within the Service: teachers and administrators can see progress and results for students in their school or group. Students can see their own results only.
- Service providers: trusted third parties that help us operate, such as cloud hosting and AI/LLM providers used to generate test content. Any future payment provider will be disclosed here before payment processing is enabled.
- Legal compliance: if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of IQA Revenue AI Systems, our users, or others.
- Business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality protections.
6.AI and Third-Party Processing
To generate practice tests, we send your submitted source material and prompts to third-party AI providers (large language model and text-to-speech services). We send only what is necessary for generation and do not share your account credentials or full profile with these providers. You should avoid submitting sensitive personal information, trade secrets, or confidential material as source content.
7.Data Storage and Retention
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After your account is closed or your entitlement expires, we may retain certain data for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Test results and progress history are retained so you and your teacher can review long-term performance. You may request deletion of your data as described below.
8.Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted authentication, role-based access control, row-level security on student records, and validated backend processing. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
9.Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations;
- Restrict or object to certain processing of your data;
- Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured format;
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing relied on consent;
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the channels provided on the Service. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
10.Children's Privacy
The Service is designed for IELTS preparation and may be used by students under educational supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without the involvement of a parent, guardian, teacher, or school administrator who has authorized their use. If you believe a child's data has been collected without authorization, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11.International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including by our cloud and AI service providers. We take measures to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including through standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.
12.Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies and local storage to maintain your session, keep you authenticated, and remember preferences. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use the Service.
13.Your Choices
You can review or update your account information from within the Service. You can decline to submit source material you do not want processed.
